Our 5 Star Brand Rating Process
Our brand ratings are based on a 5 tier system.
1. Rate for the out-of-the-box look and feel or upon arrival to a venue.
2. Rate for the sense of comfort on the first try wearing it, tasting it, or entering it (This is where most reviewers stop, we keep going).
3. Rate whether it can stand the test of time in durability, consistency, quality, and sustainability.
4. Rate whether the brand stands up to its reputation of high quality, comfort, creative conversation, or has potential to become a great brand.
5. Finally, and most important. Rate whether it meets a drive towards a lifestyle of confidence and motivation as a man…in other words, do we think it’ll make you feel good.

Since we’re in the business of reviewing reputable high quality brands for men, we take our time to truly test a product or service. We understand reputations are at stake and we, as gentlemen, respect a brand’s efforts towards success. For that reason, if they don’t meet our standards we don’t bash them, we simply move onto the next brand. After all, you’re looking for recommendations, so we don’t include anything that we don’t recommend.
