When A Film Hits Home

Traumatic brain injury isn’t limited to sports or rough occupations.

PTSD isn’t limited to the military or shared public traumas.

Sometimes the most damages that a person experiences starts right at home and in silence, turning a haven into a living hell for all within the walls.

Well said. I’m PTSD diagnosed, permanent. It was earned, not given. But you’re right, sometimes for some living at home can be a traumatic experience. I feel for kids living. In those conditions, they are innocent.

  Thanks for the compliment. I am CPTSD diagnosed (among other things), also permanent. Some earned in the stripes of actual warfare, some in the cycles that started in childhood and continues to repeat itself in my adulthood. I believe anyone being slammed into walls or mistreated in any way to be innocent. I also believe that some abusers probably have CTE or other traumatic brain injuries sustained from their own personal life battles. I know it needs not be ignored and that we as a community should take a more active role in making it stop instead of turning a blind eye and hoping it resolves itself. It never does…and pain cycle just carries on in silence while victims are isolated into eternal living prisons.
